OUR SIZING PHILOSOPHY
FUN ZONE
These are your super lightweight (150lbs and under), smaller e-motos with under 12kw of power, 16-19" wheels that are super easy to throw around and manage but can get overwhelmed on technical trails and hill climbs. Great for people just getting into the sport and want to see what e-motos are all about.

PARTY TIME
Our Converter is what we call the perfect party time e-moto with enough weight (175lbs) to plow through rough terrain but not so heavy you can't flick it around on the trails or pick it up to resposition it and get it over an obstacle. Party time bikes have around 18-22kw of power that is more than enough to get you over rowdy hill climbs or quick accelertions to manuevuer technical up and overs. We like to think these bikes have the perfect power to weight ratio with a mid sized geo that gives you room to move around on the bike but still super agile and easy to throw around. These bikes are also really fun on downhills due to the fact you can control your braking way easier and the lower standover gives you way more confidence. This size is our favorite at Emerge Moto because it offers the most fun while not limiting your ability to ride your favorite technical moto trails and push your limits.

ALL BUSINESS
These are super cabable and fun bikes but they come at a price of being a lot heavier (200-260lbs) and taller so they are not as easy to throw around and demand way more attention on the downhills and when you are giving them full throttle. They have a much higher standover so they are harder to get on and off the bike in technical situations. These bikes have a ton of power around (30-80kw) so they demand a lot of respect and skill from the rider and also have the tendancy to wear you out faster physically unless you are highly skilled.

1. SUSPENSION TUNE: Having properly tuned suspension for your weight is the most important aspect of any dirt motorcycle setup. Typically all e-motos have a one-size fits all mentalilty so you usually end up with a moto that is horribly undersprung with no options to correct it. Companies will often say just turn up your preload on your spring or fork but preload is meant to be a very fine tune adjustment, not meant to correct for the wrong size spring for your weight. At Emerge Moto, we find out your rider weight and ship you the appropriate spring for your weight so you get the perfect sag on your suspension and get all your usuable travel without harsh bottoming out on big hits.
2. COCKPIT ADJUSTMENT: Proper handlebar position is the second most crucial step to making the bike feel comfortable for you and your riding style. We give you adjustable spacers to space your handlebar to the proper position to give you control and avoid arm fatigue.
3. PROPER GEOMETRY: The Converter is spec'd and designed to have proper moto geometry unlike most stock e-motos. A nice slack head angle with an upright front end give you complete confidence on the trail whereas most competitors bikes come stock with a stink-bug style geometry where the rear end sits to high with a steep head angle that puts your body in a compromised riding position that you are constantly fighting as your weight is too far forward.
